2923-2016) Clovis Lanceolate made of a chocolate color agatized petrified wood. Measures approx 2 1/2" x 1" x 5/16" and has bifacial percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking to form. It has baton fluting on each face resulting in terminal hinge fractures and the stem is heavily ground. The stone is mega patinated with abundant devitrification and a slightly waxy luster. In terms of condition it is near mint with typical ancient use wear, G8 Quality. The exact location found is unrecorded but is likely East or Gulf Coast Texas - Louisiana area, x John Byrd and comes with a Byrd COA. $1,800

 

 

2905-2016) Adena Wells made of a yellow, gray, and black color petrified wood. Measures 2 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/2" and has bifacial random percussion followed by direct pressure flaking resulting in strong irregular median ridges. This is a bit of a chunky monkey given that the host stone retains petrified bark as cortex and was clearly created for heavy duty sticking such as hunting Alligator?This being said, it is complete and well patinated and no brainer ancient authentic G4-5 Quality. Was reportedly found on private property located in (East) Texas, x Jerry Jones Collection. $35
 

 

 

2904-2016) Lange Hafted Knife made of a maroon, pink, and gray color petrified wood. Measures approx 2 3/4" x 1 1/16" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by several stages of direct pressure flaking to form. Overall in decent condition with heavy ancient use wear, the maker left a remnant platform along the basal margin and the stone stacked up a bit given that this type of petrified wood has strong cleavage planes and has a nice patinated and mineralized luster, so G4-5 Quality. Was reportedly found on private property located in (East) Texas, x Jerry Jones Collection. $35
 

 

2222-2014) Pamillas or Axtel Dart Point made of a light to dark gray, brown, and orange colored petrified wood. This specimen measures approx 1 9/16" x 3/4" x 1/4" and has good bifacial direct pressure flaking to form. It is well patinated with a waxy luster and mineral deposits. Has some ancient use wear and overall in decent condition, G4-5 Quality. Was found on private property located in Williamson County, Texas in 2011, x John Gordon Collection. 2572-2015) Ensor or Fairland Dart Point made of a golden butterscotch color mossy semi transparent agate. This gem measures approx 1 13/16" x 1" x 3/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking. The edges have worn serrations and the tip is mucronate - overall in good condition, G6 Quality. Was found on private property located in Williamson County, Texas, x MBA. $150
 

 

 

2584-2015) Castroville Basetang Uniface Knife made of a light to medium gray swirled flint. This fine specimen measures approx 3 1/2" x 2 5/16" x 5/16" and has random percussion followed by selective pressure flaking primarily on the dorsal face but extending in part on the ventral face and stem. Overall in good condition with typical ancient use wear, G7 Quality. Has a rich patinated luster with midden mineral deposits. 2830-2016) Adena Dart Point made of a brown and gray color banded petrified wood. Measures approx 2 5/16" x 1 1/16" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by good pressure flaking and light stem grinding to form. 2743-2016 [66-11] Gary Dart Point made of a cream, tan, and light brown color petrified wood. Measures approx 1 15/16" x 15/16" x 3/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by selective pressure flaking and stem grinding to form. Has a rich waxy patinated luster along with alternate steep left hand blade edge beveling. Condition is good with typical ancient use wear, G6 Quality. Was found on private property located in Limestone County, Texas, x MBA. $65
 

 

 

 

2735-2016) Oakalla Dart Point made of a cream, tan, light gray and white color petrified wood. This specimen measures approx 2 3/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/4" and has excellent bifacial pressure flaking with a near needle tip and a waxy patinated luster. Condition shows nicks on barbs so G5 Quality. Was part of a Hill Country, Texas collection, x James Aboud. $150
 

 

2626-2015) Langtry Hafted Knife made of what appears to be some type of agatized petrified wood or fossil plant material. Measures approx 2 3/8" x 1 5/16" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by pressure flaking and stem edge grinding. Has a slightly wind blown sand polished and patinated appearance, while condition is fair given a shear along the basal margin, G3 Quality. Was found on private property located in Howard County, Texas, x John Gordon Collection. $40
 

 

2587-2015) Carrollton or Adena made of a peach, cream, and light brown color petrified wood. Measures approx 2 9/16" x 1 1/8" x 5/16" and has good bifacial random percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking. Condition is fairly good with typical ancient use wear, G6 Quality. Has a rich patinated and heavily mineralized luster, nice size for a pet wood from this region. Was found in Southeast Texas, finder and county information are unrecorded, x Jerry Jones Collection. $85
 

 

 

2625-2015 [51-4] Ensor or Lange made of a cream, white, and light orange color agatized petrified wood. Measures approx 2 1/16" x 7/8" x 3/16" and has nice bifacial pressure flaking resulting in a lenticular cross section. Has a slightly devitrified patinated luster with good mineral deposits. Condition is very good, G7 Quality. Was found near Gatesville, Texas, x MBA. $125
 

 

 

2805-2016) Archaic Knife or Preform made of a colorful pink and green petrified wood. This specimen measures approx 3" x 1 5/16" x 7/16" and has heavy bifacial direct percussion followed by pressure flaking trimming. It is mega patinated with abundant mineral deposits, while condition is good, G5-6 Quality. Was found on private property located in East Texas, x Kenny Holt Collection. $50
 

 

 

2890-2016 [96-26] Uvalde Dart Point made of a semi transparent honey, amber, clear, white, and maroon color moss agate. This specimen measures approx 2 5/8" x 1 1/16" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by selective pressure flaking and lateral stem edge grinding to form. Has a nice waxy patinated and mineralized luster and is in decent condition with a worn nipple tip, G5-6 Quality. Was found on private property located in Bell County, Texas, x MBA. $50
 

 

 

2728-2016) Bulverde or Variant made of a light to dark brown and black color banded fossil petrified wood. 2553-2015) Yarbrough or Godley Dart Point made of a colorful orange, tan, cream, maroon, and yellow color petrified wood. This specimen measures approx 2 7/16" x 13/16" x 3/8" and has bifacial random percussion followed by selective pressure flaking. The side notches are broad and shallow, while the lithic is very grainy given good fossil preservation, this results in a thick point with stacking, G4-5 Quality. Was found on private property located in Angelina County, Texas, x Randy Savage Collection. $65
 

 

2551-2015) Palmillas Hafted Knife made of a multi tone brown and orange color petrified wood. This specimen measures approx 2 7/16" x 3/4" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by selective collateral pressure flaking resulting in median ridges on each face and rhomboid cross section. This specimen measures approx 1 13/16" x 3/4" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion plus collateral pressure flaking resulting in somewhat of a median ridge on each face. Condition is fair where the basal margin either has a remnant striking platform or has shear, G4 Quality. 2536-2015) Grand Dart Point made of a dark chocolate, orange, and black color petrified wood. this specimen measures at 2 9/16" x 1" x 5/16" and is made with bifacial percussion followed by multiple stages of direct pressure flaking to form. It is mega patinated and nicely mineralized with some river polish. Condition is very good, G6-7 Quality. It is in good condition with a slightly creek or river polished waxy devitrified luster, G6-7 Quality. 2532-2015) Ponchartrain or Pogo Dart / Knife made of a peach, gray, white, and black color petrified wood that has drusy crystal quartz infilling. This specimen measures approx 2 3/4" x 1 1/16" x 3/8" and has bifacial random percussion followed by direct pressure flaking and lateral stem edge grinding to form. Overall has a waxy slightly river polished waxy luster and abundant mineral deposits. Condition is good with typical ancient use wear, G6-7 Quality. 2530-2015) Dalton Dart Point made of a light gray petrified wood with black growth rings. This specimen measures approx 2 1/8" x 1" x 5/16" and has primary bifacial random percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking. It has blade edge beveling of various angles from ancient resharpening and the basal margin has short multiple longitudinal thinning strikes. The stone is patinated to the max with mineral deposits. Overall in good condition with very minor hafting nicks on the auricles, G7-8 Quality. Was found on private property located in Coryell County, Texas, x Randy Savage Collection. $400

This gem point measures approx 2 1/4" x 1 3/8" x 1/4" and has large shallow bifacial random percussion flakes followed by a couple of stages of direct pressure work to form. 2074-2014) Lange / Bulverde Dart Point / Knife made of a brown, orange, and tan colored petrified wood.  Measures at 2 1/8" x 1" x 5/16" and has random primary bifacial percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking and stem grinding to form. The blade has been reduced by at least half and has steep edge bevels. It is nicely patinated and has some river polish and good mineral deposits. Condition is decent with ancient use wear, G4-5 Quality. This specimen was found in Lamar County, Texas near the Sulfur River on private land by Mike Broe Sr. x MBA. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $35
 

 

 

2056-2014) Langtry Arenosa Dart Point made of a highly translucent clear agate. This specimen measures approx 1 7/16" x 15/16" x 3/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by pressure flaking. The bell shaped stem is moderately ground and the patination is a mix of wind blow sand polish with mineral deposits. Condition is decent with a worn tip and multiple stages of ancient blade edge resharpening, G5 Quality. Was part of the estate of the late James M. Young whom resided in San Angelo Texas and whom extensively surface hunted private ranch property from San Angelo to Del Rio, San Antonio and El Paso, x Carl Cummins.
