2924-2016) Clovis Dart Point made of a dark gray to black color banded flint. This specimen measures approx 2 3/8" x 15/16" x 1/4" and has excellent bifacial percussion followed by horizontal transverse then direct pressure flaking. Both stem faces are nicely fluted and the stem edges are heavily ground. Overall in good condition save for one auricle which has a small amount of restoration resin which could easily be removed if desired, G7-8 Quality. The stone is well patinated with devitrified sand polished surface and mineral deposits including manganese iron. Was found on private ranch property located approximately 10 miles from Cedar Lake in Gaines County, Texas by a field operator named Eric Blanco from whom I purchased this point from in September 2015. $2,000
 

2898-2016) Plainview Hafted Drill or Awl made of a nicely patinated waxy Edwards Plateau Flint. Measures approx 1 9/16" x 1 1/16" x 1/4" and has good bifacial pressure flaking along with short longitudinal basal thinning strikes and heavy stem edge and basal margin grinding. Overall in good condition with typical ancient use wear and a waxy well patinated luster and mineral deposits consistent with a West Texas sand blow find, G7 Quality, x John Byrd Collection. $150
 

2900-2016) Early Stage Harahey or Covington Knife blade made of a mega patinated and mineralized Georgetown Flint. Measures approx 4 15/16" x 2" x 3/8" and has outstanding large shallow bifacial primary percussion followed by highly controlled pressure flaking. The blade has some torque and curvature from ancient resharpening while the mineral deposits are consistent with a North Texas Panhandle Find, x John Byrd Collection, G9-10 Quality. $600
 

2903-2016) Uvalde or Gower Uniface Knife or Specialized Tool with a spokeshave. Measures approx 2 13/16" x 1 1/16" x 3/16" and has a beautiful double ridge flute that runs the length of the piece on the dorsal face followed by several stages of direct pressure flaking along the edges giving it bevels of varying steepness. Overall this tool is in very good condition with typical ancient use wear and a rich waxy patinated and sandy soil mineralized luster, G8 Quality. Was found on private property located in Martin County, Texas by John Gordon, wonderful artifact in every respect. $150
 

2221-2016) Cody Complex Knife (after Firstview) made of a bluish gray colored mottled fossil chert. This specimen measures approx 3 5/16" x 1" x 3/8" and has good bifacial collateral mixed with tertiary pressure flaking to form. The blade is asymmetrical with strong beveling and torque or twist in the cross section. The lateral edges of the stem are well ground resulting in weak shoulders. Has a rich waxy patinated luster and good mineral deposits. Does show some ancient use wear and tear, G7 Quality. Was reportedly found on private property in Martin County, West Texas, x John Gordon Collection. $3,500
 

2909-2016) Set of  36 SE New Mexico Points made of various lithic materials ranging from Raton Obsidian, to basalt, flint, and chert. The longest point measures approx 2 3/16" in length. The top 2 rows contain relics that have some degree of modern rechipping on them, while the bottom 2 rows pass microscopic inspection with no issues. These were all part of the Jack Haygood Collection and were surface finds on private property during the 1940-50's in Sandoval County, New Mexico, x Jack Haygood and Heirs, x M Munoz. I have a nice write up about the Haygood collection that will go to the buyer which provides more details. In this set is a diverse array of types including Bajada, Carlsbad, Milnesand, Pinto Basin, Scallorn, Bat Cave, Augustin Plains, San Jose, Datil, and many others. Condition varies between G2-7 range - all have a rich patinated and nicely mineralized luster. $225
 
 
 

 

2266-2015 [453] Angostura or Levi Atlatl Dart Point made of a rootbeer, light brown and gray color banded flint. Measures approx 1 3/4" x 1 11/16" x 3/16". This fine specimen mas oblique parallel ribbon pressure flaking, multiple longitudinal basal thinning strikes, and moderate stem edge grinding. Has a worn graver spur tip and a beautiful wind blown sand polish as would be expected for a West Texas sand dune find. Overall in good condition, G6 Quality, x Pat Robinson Collection, Jim Bennett. Comes with a Dwain Rogers COA and a NWAC SOP. $250

 

 

2747-2016) Plainview Dart Point made of a medium gray color Edwards Plateau Flint. Measures approx 2 5/16" x 1" x 3/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by secondary and tertiary horizontal pressure flaking along with multiple short basal thinning strikes. Has a rich waxy wind blown sand polished and patinated luster and is in good condition with a nip to the tip, G7 Quality. Was found on private property located east of Cedar Lake in Gaines County, Texas by Eric Blanco. $275
 

 

 

2586-2015) Marcos Dart Point made of a clear and white color frosty agate. Measures approx 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" x 3/16" and has good bifacial pressure flaking resulting in a thin lenticular cross section. Overall is in very good condition, G8 Quality. Stone has abundant calliche mineral deposits along with a devitrified patinated luster. This specimen was found on private property located in Comanche County, Texas, x Jim Bennett, Gil White Collections. $150
 

 

1860-2013) Catan or Preform made of a beautiful peach and tan colored high grade Edwards Flint with a distinctive bull's-eye in the stone matrix. This specimen measures approx 1 7/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/4" and is very thin with a rich patinated and mineralized luster. The flaking is well done and condition is very good, G7+ Quality. Was found by Glen Baker while surface hunting private ranch property near San Antonio in Bexar County, Texas, x Don Meador. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $25

 

 

2750-2016) Leaf Shaped Microlith or Specialized Drill made of a medium gray color flint. Measures approx 1 3/16" x 5/16" x 1/16" and has super fine bifacial collateral pressure flaking resulting in a median ridge on one face. Has a rich patinated sand polished and mineralized luster. One end either was unfinished at the haft or has a nipped tip, the other end has a fine tip, G5 Quality. Was found on private property located in the Monahans Dune Complex in Ward County, Texas by Eric Blanco. $35
 

 

 

2893-2016) Edwards Arrowpoint made of a white and clear color opalized petrified wood. Measures approx 11/16" x 7/16" x 1/8" and has very fine bifacial pressure flaking to form. This tiny little point has a a slightly devitrified patinated luster and some mineral deposits, while condition is fairly good with minor ancient use wear, G7 Quality. Was reportedly found in Texas, county or finder information is unrecorded, but judging from patina and material likely Southwest Texas region, x Brandon Vanderver. $60
 

 

2886-2016) Maljamar Atlatl Dart Point made of a brick red color rhyolite with small clear quartz crystals embedded in the stone matrix. This specimen measures approx 1 1/2" x 15/16" x 1/4" and has good bifacial pressure flaking, a worn mucronate tip and heavy blade edge serrations. Condition is good with typical ancient use wear, G6-7 Quality. Was reportedly found on private property as part of a California, Nevada, Oregon collection, x Patricia Torre. $50
 

 

2829-2016) Paleo Knife possibly related to an Angostura Culture made of a mottled Edwards Plateau Flint. This specimen measures approx 2 7/16" x 1 1/8" x 1/4" and has bifacial clamshell percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking and lateral stem grinding. The blade has seen multiple ancient resharpenings resulting in asymmetry. Condition is good with abundant mineral deposits and devitrified patinated luster. The tip has a worn graver spur, G6 Quality. Was reportedly found on private property located in SE New Mexico, x Rick Stevens Collection. $150
 

 

 

2798-2016) Ultrathin Blade of Blade or Knife made of a gray and brown colored varigated high grade Edwards Plateau Flint. Has attributes seen with Folsom Ultrathin blades - have showed this to several respected Plains collectors whom immediately though this was a Folsom Ultrathin, regardless of interpretation it is a dynamite relic in every respect. This specimen measures approx 4 1/4" x 2 3/16" x 5/16" and has large shallow primary percussion followed by multiple stages of direct pressure flaking. Has a crescent shape and a beautiful wind blown sand polished waxy patinated luster with tons of mineral deposits. Condition is near mint and workmanship superb, G9.5-10 Quality. Was reportedly found on private property located in Pulaski Co, Missouri origin which may be in error given that the patination and mineral deposits are more consistent with the Southern Plains region in Texas or Oklahoma. This said, it was papered by Rogers as an Archaic Bipointed Knife, x Terry Allen, Kenneth Clinton Collections. $1,000

 

 

2785-2016) Perdiz Arrowpoint made of a cream and tan color Edwards Plateau Flint. Measures approx 1 5/16" x 5/8" x 1/8" and has nice bifacial pressure flaking resulted in a good tip, barbs, and delicate elongated stem, G7-8 Quality. The location where they were found is unrecorded but hails from a Prescott Valley, Arizona collection, x Mark DeLorme. $75
 

 

2784-2016) Perdiz Arrowpoint made of a cream, tan, and brown color chert. Measures approx 1 11/16" x 5/8" x 1/16" and has nice bifacial pressure flaking resulting in an elongated contracting stem as well as light blade edge serrations, G7-8 Quality. The location where they were found is unrecorded but hails from a Prescott Valley, Arizona collection, x Mark DeLorme. $75
 

 

2731-2016 [MHFT533] Talco or Maud Arrowpoint Point made of an orange and pink color swirled Kay County Chert. This fine specimen measures approx 1 1/4" x 7/16" x 1/16" and has superb bifacial pressure flaking resulting in an extremely thin cross section. The stone has a rich patinated luster with abundant mineral deposits, while condition is near mint, G9-10 Cache Quality. Finder and exact location is unrecorded but presumed to be North Texas, x Michael Hough, Gordon Erspamer, Jim Bennett. $150
 

 

463-2014) San Jose Dart Point / Hafted Knife made of a cream and tan color Pecos River Quartzite. This specimen measures approx 1" x 11/16" x 3/16" and has good bifacial random percussion followed by selective pressure flaking. The stem and basal margin are heavily ground while the blade has been anciently resharpened down leaving worn serrations and a graver spur tip. Has a rich wind blown sand polish and heavily mineralized patinated luster. Was found on private ranch property located in Eddy County, New Mexico, G6-7 Quality. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $35
 

 

2208-2014) Frio "Walking Man" Dart Point / Knife made of an orange, rootbeer, and red colored flint. This specimen measures just shy of 1 3/4" x 1 1/8" x 1/4" and has thorough bifacial pressure flaking and notching to form. Overall in good condition with typical ancient use wear, G7 Quality. Was reportedly found on private property located in Otero County, New Mexico by Cecil Jensen and his wife from 1930-64 after which was sold to a museum located in the Black Hills, South Dakota area. In 1992 the museum deaccessioned the bulk of their inventory and this point was purchased in a shadow box frame by William Blue whom consigned the frames to be sold by Allard Auctions. 2132-2014) Pelona Dart Point made of a red, white, and blue colored moss agate. This gem point measures approx 1 7/16" x 9/16" x 3/16" and has collateral pressure flaking creating a strong median ridge on the dorsal face with more direct edge pressure work on the ventral face, overall a plano convex cross section. Has a small remnant striking platform on the basal margin while condition is very good with minimal ancient use wear, G8 Quality. Patination is very rich with a waxy wind blown sand polished luster and abundant mineral deposits. Was part of a huge estate collection assembled from surface hunting private property during the 1900-30's all across the Far West region particularly the Columbia River and Great Basin, x Christine Robinson. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $85
 

 

 

1762-2013) Bonita Side Notch Arrowpoint made of a dark green and clear colored moss agate. This gem point measures approx 7/8" x 7/16" x 1/16" and has been thoroughly pressure flaked all over resulting in an extremely thin and lenticular cross section and nicely faceted even overall appearance. It is very well patinated and has good mineral deposits. Condition is near mint and Quality G9+. Was reportedly found in West Central Texas, x C. Oswald Collection.
