2103-2014) Archaic Combo Knife made of a light blue, clear, white, and purple colored mossy Sage Agate. $500
 

 

 

2899-2016) Miniature High Plains Cody Knife (after Eden) made of pink, maroon, and white colored Madison agate. This specimen measures approx 1 1/8" x 3/4" x 3/16" and has multiple stages of bifacial pressure flaking resulting in blade asymmetry. The lateral stem edges are moderately ground while the stone is well patinated with waxy devitrified luster. Overall in worn discarded condition, G4 Quality. Was found on private property in Montana, x John Byrd. $150
 

 



1885-2014) Quarter Moon Paleo Crescent made of an orange colored jasper. This specimen measures approx 1 3/4" x 11/16" x 3/16" and has excellent bifacial clamshell percussion followed by selective pressure flaking. It is very well patinated with a nice waxy luster. One distal end is sheared off during use so G3 Quality. Was found on private property located in Owyhee County, Idaho, x Steve Werre Collection. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $35
 




2594-2015) Pelican Lake Dart Point made of an orange and gray color Elizabethan Petrified Wood. Measures approx 1 3/8" x 11/16" x 3/16" and has very fine bifacial pressure flaking to form. Condition is very good, G6-7 Quality. Was found on private property located near Amarillo, Texas, x W. Dunagan Collection. $75
 




2589-2015) Stemmed Hafted Knife made of black, gray, and light brown color Arizona petrified wood. Measures approx 2 1/2" x 1 5/8" x 5/16" and has good bifacial clamshell percussion followed by pressure flaking to form. Condition is near mint and G8 or better quality. The stone is well patinated with abundant mineral deposits. This specimen was found on private property located near Durango in La Plata County, Colorado, x B. Moore Collection. $500
 

 

 


1960-2014) Lochnore Creek Hafted Knife or Pendant made of a white, off-white, and cream colored fossil chert. This specimen measures at 2 15/16" x 1 1/8" x 3/8" and has bifacial percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking. The blade edges are beveled and the contracting stem is moderately ground. Type site is located in the Fraser River in British Columbia where this relic is more common. On the Plains these are typologically classified as Mount Albion. Condition is good with ancient use wear, G7 Quality. Was reportedly found by Louis Brunke between 1895 and 1920 in Colorado, x Jim Bennett. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $75
 

 

 

363-2010) Besant Asymmetrical Knife made of Knife River Silicified Lignite. This specimen measures approx 1 15/16" x 7/8" x 3/16" and has selective bifacial pressure flaking to form. The ventral face has a trimming on the stem and the left hand blade edge resulting in a shallow angle bevel, while on the dorsal face the stem has horizontal thinning and blade edge beveling of different angles. The tip is elongated and blob like with a curved beak. There is moderate to heavy lateral stem and basal margin grinding. Has a rich patinated luster and is in near mint condition and G8 Quality. Was found by the Yersin Family while surface hunting on their privately owned land located in Eastern Colorado during the 1890-1960's, x Matt Watkins Collection. Comes with a Dwain Rogers COA as a Besant Knife and a NWAC SOP. $175

 

 

94-2010) Clovis made of clear and white moonstone agate which must have had an important meaning to Clovis people as it looks just like the icy landscape that they hunted large Pleistocene megafauna. This specimen has lateral stem grinding to a polish, it has fluting on each face, the tip is rounded from use as a knife. Was found in Wyoming by Greg Madison, x Bill Ryker Coll. Grades G6.80 and comes with a NWAC COEP and Taylor COA. $500

 

 

1804-2013) Camelback Dart Point made of a gold colored silicified sand / quartzite material. This specimen measures at 1 5/8" x 13/16" x 3/16" and has very nice bifacial pressure flaking. The stem is heavily ground and overall shape is similar to the Midwestern Dovetail type of point save for the fact that it has deep broad side notches. Condition is near mint and quality G7. Very well patinated and mineralized and found on private land located in Weld County, Colorado by Bob Roth. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $25
 

 

 

2092-2014) Humboldt Dart Point made of a black opaque obsidian. This specimen measures approx 1 9/16" x 9/16" x 3/16" and has good bifacial collateral pressure flaking to a median ridge on the dorsal face. It is very well patinated with abundant mineral deposits. Overall in decent condition having typical ancient use wear, G4-5 Quality. Was found on private property located in the vicinity of the Snake River drainage in Idaho, x Jay and Lori Robinson Collection. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $15
