732-2010) Effigy Roller Bead made of well patinated and mineralized sandstone. This relic appears to have been incised and ground to represent a mother holding a child and may be a fertility charm. It was found on private land located in Ecuador and likely relates to the Valdivia Indians circa 500-3200 BC, x Jonathan Saturen Coll. $150 obo

995-2010) Miniature Colima Wealth Blade made of a beautiful red, orange, and black colored mottled mahogany obsidian. This specimen is very well made with multiple stages of bifacial pressure flaking, particularly around the blade edges. It is extremely thin and lenticular in the cross section and is in mint condition. Was reportedly found near near Teotihuacan, Mexico and were reportedly part of an old legally obtained and grandfathered collection numbering about 50 items, x Dan Thomas Coll. Miniature wealth blades are extra rare and often misidentified as Cascade points. Several late Archaic ultures along the Pacific Coast ranging from West Mexico into the Northwest Coast created large wealth blades and 'slave killers' and occasionally would create a miniature possibly as an amulet or charm. Measures approx 2 3/16" x 9/16" x 1/4". This is a G10 Quality artifact. $400 obo

997-2010) Desert Side Notched Knife made of a semi translucent green colored gem obsidian with sparkly good sheen in the stone matrix. This specimen measures approx 2 5/16" x 7/8" x 5/16". It has a squared stem with small side notches and heavy sawtooth blade serrations along one edge. Flaking is bifacial random percussion followed by selective pressure work. There is an onion skin patina and some mineral deposits. Was found by Dr. Alan Heflin while hunting at Chalco, Mexico on 9/4/1956 and comes with a photocopy of his biography, x Hank Johnson Coll., beautiful lithic and G7.5-8 Quality. $150 obo

499-2010) Diamond Stemmed Eccentric Neolithic Vendetta Point made of heavily patinated and mineralized chalcedony. This is an extremely rare point with few intact examples known. It was created using bifacial pressure flaking and careful punch notching and selective abrading to achieve the desired form. The upper blade is triangular with slightly drooping barbs while the base is diamond shaped and is attached to a stem that constricts towards the tip. It appears that this point may have been anciently engineered to fracture at the stem upon impact rending a lethal shot likely during times of warfare. Measures approx 1 3/4" in length, has a polyrhomboidal cross section and is G10+ in Quality, was reportedly found in the African Saharan Desert Region, x Kevin Pipes Coll, $400 obo

544-2010) Eccentric African Neolithic Arrowpoint made of a dark grayish brown colored opaque flint. This point is quite scarce as it contains a total of 10 notches and 8 barbs whereas the more classic Eccentric contains 4-6 notches and 2-4 barbs. The bifacial pressure flaking is excellent resulting in a refined point having a diamond shaped stem, the patination is waxy from wind blown sand polish and desert mineral deposits. This one measures at 1 11/16" in length and is G8 in quality with a minor tip nip. Was reportedly found in the African Saharan Desert Region, x Kevin Pipes Coll. $50 obo

949-2010) Colima Bipoint Dagger / Knife, heavily patinated and mineralized semi translucent gem agate mottled with chalcedony. This specimen was 1 of a cache of 10 blades collected in the Valley of Mexico in the Tenochtitlan area of Mexico in 1928, x Sam Johnson, Jim Bennett. Comes with a Perino COA dated 8/20/1997. Measures 7 1/16" in length and is G8.75 quality. $2,000 obo

950-2010) Huge Paleoarchaic Dagger or Knife made of mottled gray heavily patinated and mineralized flint. This specimen was 1 of a cache of 5 found in the Ukraine, x Lawrence Overmeyer, Jeffrey D. McLaughlin Collections, comes with a Perino COA dated 7/26/2001. Measures approximately 9 1/8" in length and is G10+ quality. Perino opines that this relic is from the prehistoric period in Russia, however the generally morphology, large shallow primary overshot percussion followed by intricate edge pressure flaking and and distinctive bell shaped stem suggest that this relic may be much older. It is possible that this dagger is Soulutrean, either way it is elite and a rare large intact flint specimen worthy as a centerpiece in any frame. $2,500 obo
