2835-2016) Guilford Dart Point made of an gem smoky quartz crystal. Measures approx 1 7/16" x 3/4" x 7/16" and has bifacial collateral pressure flaking resulting in a defined median ridge while the blade edges have steep beveling from subsequent ancient resharpening, G5 Quality. This is the only complete point that I have ever seen made of this particular lithic material. Was found on private property located near Greer in Greenville County, South Carolina, x Lyndon Awai. $100
 

 

 

 

2969-2017) Set of 6 Stemmed Dart Point or Knife made of various flavors of vein and bull quartz. The longest specimen measures approx 1 3/4" in length. Types include Bare Island, Lackawaxen, Cresap, and Brodhead. All have various amounts of ancient use wear, but are in good condition, G4-6 Quality. Was found on a privately owned farm located outside of Worcester in Worcester County, Massachusetts, x Amanda Anderson. $30
 

 

 

2968-2017) Set of 6 Archaic Dart Points and Knives made of clear and white color vein quartz. Types include Brodhead, St Albans, Rowan, and Lackawaxen. The longest point measures approx 1 1/2" in length. All have abundant ancient use wear and most have moderate mineral deposits, G3-6 Quality. 2966-2017) Brodhead Dart Point or Knife made of clear and white color quartz. Measures approx 1 3/8" x 3/4" x 1/4" and has good bifacial percussion followed by pressure flaking to form. Overall in good condition and has a rich patinated and mineralized luster, G6 Quality. 2963-2017) Rowan Quartz made of a semi transparent white color quartz. Measures approx 1 1/2" x 13/16" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by pressure flaking and moderate stem grinding. Overall in decent condition with abundant ancient use wear, G4-5 Quality. 2962-2017) Lackawaxen Dart Point or Knife made of a clear and white color vein quartz. Measures approx 1 7/16" x 13/16" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by multiple stages of pressure flaking resulting in a well made and balanced projectile point. Overall in good condition with typical ancient use wear, G6-7 Quality. 2959-2017) Patuxent or Rowan Dart Point made of a clear and white color vein quartz. Measures approx 1 1/2" x 15/16" x 5/16" and has nice bifacial percussion followed by pressure flaking. Overall well made with a beautiful patinated and mineralized luster, G7 Quality. 2838-2016) Yadkin or Waratan Dart Point made of a clear and white banded vein quartz. Measures approx 1" x 5/8" x 3/16" and has fine bifacial pressure flaking and shallow side notching to form. The stone is very well patinated and mineralized, while condition is very good with a nice tip, G5-6 Quality. This specimen was found on private far property located in Johnston County, North Carolina, x Jeff Correll. $50
 

 

 

 

 

2807-2016) Stemmed Dart Point made of a white and dark gray color bull quartz. Measures approx 1 3/4" x 3/4" x 5/16" and has good bifacial random pressure flaking and moderate grinding to the contracting stem. Overall nicely patinated and mineralized and in good condition with typical ancient use wear, G5-6 Quality. This specimen was found on private property located in Massachusetts, x Kevin Corderio. $20

Measures approx 15/16" x 13/16" x 3/16" and has bifacial pressure flaking with shortt longitudinal basal thinning and grinding. Tip is sheared so G3 Quality. Was part of a Louisburg, North Carolina Collection, x Frank Alexander. $35
 

 

2709-2016) Hardaway or Waratan Dart Point made of a white color river stained semi transparent bull quartz. Measures approx 1" x 3/4" x 3/16" and has bifacial collateral pressure flaking with short basal thinning and margin grinding. In good condition with a mineralized patinated luster, G7 Quality. Was part of a Louisburg, North Carolina Collection, x Frank Alexander. $200
 

 

 

2707-2016) Ledbetter Hafted Knife made of a white, off-white and medium gray color agatized fossil coral. Measures approx 2 7/16" x 1 5/16" x 3/8" and has bifacial random percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking. Has seen ancient resharpening which has resulted in blade asymmetry along with a chisel like tip. The stone is well patinated with some river polish and mineralization. Overall in decent condition, G5 Quality. Was found on private property located in the Southeast. Hails from a Saint George, Georgia Collection, x Mike Hanning. $75

2703-2016) Palmer Hafted Knife made of a banded white and clear color vein quartz. Measures 1 9/16" x 13/16" x 5/16" and has bifacial collateral pressure flaking along with moderate blade edge serrations. The stone is well patinated and mineralized with extensive ancient resharpening, G4-5 Quality. Was found on private property located in Johnston County, North Carolina by Ben Baker. $40
 

 

 

2701-2016) Rowan or Dalton Variant Dart Point made of a banded white and clear color vein quartz. Measures approx 1 5/8" x 1" x 3/8" and has bifacial pressure flaking along with ancient resharpening resulting in blade edge beveling. Has an excellent tip and heavily ground stem and auricles. Overall in good condition, G8 Quality. Was found on private property located in Johnston County, North Carolina by Ben Baker. $150
 

 

2700-2016) Savannah River Dart Point made of clear and white color vein quartz. Measures approx 1 5/8" x 1 1/8" x 5/16" and has bifacial random percussion followed by several stages of pressure flaking. Overall sturdily constructed with abundant ancient use wear, the basal margin is flat from a shear or striking platform, G3 Quality. Was found on private property located in Johnston County, North Carolina by Ben Baker. $40
 

 

2603-2015) Clovis or Alamance Paleo Dart Point or Hafted Knife made of a white and clear color vein quartz. Measures approx 1 7/16" x 7/8" x 1/4" and has bifacial percussion followed by pressure flaking. The lateral stem edges are moderately ground with longitudinal thinning strikes. The stone has a nice patinated and mineralized luster while condition shows ancient use wear with a worn graver tip, G6 Quality. The finder and location information on this specimen is unrecorded but presumed to be the Southeastern US. $600
 

 

 

1913-2014) LeCroy or Stanley Dart Point / Knife made of a beautiful clear, white, maroon, and red colored vein quartz. This gorgeous gem point measures approx 1 1/4" x 7/8" x 1/4" and has good bifacial pressure flaking and lateral stem grinding to form. It has a nice patinated and mineralized luster and is in great condition, G7 Quality. Was found on private property located outside of Bedford, Massachusetts, x Steven Costas Collection. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $150

 

1893-2014) Stemmed Dart Point made of clear, white, and smoky crystal quartz. This specimen measures at 1 5/8" x 3/4" x 1/4" and has bifacial pressure flaking that has resulted in alternate left hand blade edge beveling. It is very well patinated and mineralized and is in great condition, G7 Quality. There are remnants of smoky quartz crystals embedded in the lithic in the stem which make this an select point. Was reportedly found near Forestdale, Massachusetts, in Barnstable County, x Amanda Anderson Collection. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $65
 

1091-2012) Palmer Dart Point made of clear and white colored vein quartz. Measures approx 1 1/4" x 3/4" x 5/16" and has good bifacial flaking resulting in a balanced sturdy biconvex cross section and medium blade edge serrations. Overall in good condition and G6-7 Quality. This specimen was reportedly found on private land located in Randolph Co, NC by Bobby Paysour. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $35

 

1812-2013) Pickwick Knife made of a gorgeous orange, olive green, light gray, peach, and cream colored high quality Bangor Flint. This is an incredible relic in every respect and measures 3 3/8" x 1 3/8" x 5/16". After the colors the extreme blade twist or torque is amazing! It compares well with the finest Pandale and Harahey type of of knives. The maker skillfully used large shallow percussion followed by several stages of bifacial pressure flaking to achieve this result. The blade edges have nice serrations from tertiary edgework and the tip is nice. The basal margin on the stem retains the parent striking platform along with core preparation marks with overall condition being near mint and Quality G8. It was found in Limestone County, Alabama, x Webb Giles Collection. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $275
 




1524-2013) Hardaway / Rowan / Big Sandy Dart Point or Knife made of vein crystal quartz. This specimen measures approx 1 3/16" x 3/4" x 1/4" and has been bifacially pressure flaked and basal ground to form. The blade size has been reduced by at least 50% from several ancient resharpenings leaving projecting spurs or serrations. Has a nice patinated luster with some river polish and correct mineral deposits. Condition is near mint and quality G6. Was reportedly found in Moore Co, North Carolina, x Leslie Tucker Collection. Comes with a NWAC SOP. $40
