Northwest Art and Collectibles Blog
5/18/2012 We will be adding updated images on existing lists as well as adding new items for sale. Have lots of Northwest ground stone to sell as well as some very nice gem points. More to follow...
3/10/2012 Continue to add Columbia River gem points to the Pacific Coast page, plenty more to list over the weekend. It is rainy outside so it is good time to stay indoors and work on the business.
3/9/2012 Went through the website and marked down nearly all of our prices on the older inventory in order to have a 'Spring Clearance Sale'. Had several inquiries regarding Peter Allen points that have been on hold since late February. I never received any guidance as to whether the interested party was going to commit to a purchase, so am making any and all of these available again. Am going to be listing quite a number of artifacts over the weekend including an incredible Lind Coulee or Haskett Paleo Lanceolate, a Paleo Uniface Knife, a couple of Desert Triangular Blades, an obsidian Cascade, a gem Klickitat Dagger and alot more of the Berg Collection Columbia River Cream.
3/6/2012 Added 2 incredible G9-10 Quality Paleo Crescents and a large well made G9 Windust-Cody Lanceolate/Knife masterpiece made of rainbow obsidian.
3/4/2012 Just listed an incredible G10 Paleo Biface made of agatized petrified wood that has Clovis Culture characteristics, also posted a very fine Half Moon Paleo Crescent Knife, a large G10 Quality Cascade Dagger, a gem Vendetta Arrowpoint, a gem Cascade Dart Point, a gem agatized wood Hendricks, a colorful petrified wood Wildcat Canyon Knife, a gem Quilomene Bar Knife and a large Wallula Knife made of petrified wood - all on the Pacific Coast page. Am starting to restock the Southern Plains page by adding a flakedelic Levi, a cache quality Ensor made of agatized wood, and a colorful Harahey Beveled Knife made of colorful Alibates. We have hundreds more select and high quality relics yet to list, so be sure to check back at least once or twice per week!
2/26/2012 We are continuing to add new relics to the website. Just posted an incredible Wildcat Canyon Knife made of colorful petrified wood, along with a real jewel of a Quilomene Bar Knife, and a large Wallula Knife made of Petrified Wood on the Pacific Coast page. We also added an super nice long Humboldt Lanceolate made of Malheur Flint, a gorgeous colorful Paleo Blade made of Jasper, and a Cache Quality G10 Eastgate made of mahogany obsidian on the Great Basin page. My thinking is to discount some of the more mature inventory and sell it all wholesale cost, if you have been considering an item or two for your collection, feel free to make me an offer. Have lots more still to list! Thanks, Rodney
2/24/2012 Jessica and I are now happy grandparents to new granddaughter named Luciana Marie whom was born to Ben and Joanie Rosciglione earlier today. Last year Lucy had a baby brother named Gabriel born, so now are blessed with two beautiful and healthy grandchildren.
2/23/2012 Just posted images of the Peter Allen Collection for sale on the Pacific, Rockies, and Great Basin pages. Will be adding details and pricing during the next few days. If you see something that you are interested, in please contact us by email or phone! There is lots of quality in this collection with several select items having Stermer COA's and haven been published in various Overstreet editions. Most of the collection has excellent provenance.
1/29/2012 During the past several months my Family and I have been in the process of closing on a custom home purchase in the northern DFW area on the peninsula of Lake Lewisville. We are extremely happy to have made this move to a permanent location where we area integrating NWAC into our home in order to better serve our clients. The plan for 2012 is to have custom displays built to showcase our inventory for select clients whom wish to plan a visit. Also, we have been very aggressive in purchasing artifacts and paintings, so have a diverse array of items to photograph, list and sell both here at NWAC and under consignment with Renegade Artifacts. We have at least 250 beautiful Columbia River gem points, over 300 premium Great Basin artifacts, many of which are papered and several are published, a nice mix of Texas and Plains points along with some rarities from various North America regions.
1/28/2012 Northwest Art and Collectibles has a new mailing address located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Our phone number and email remains the same.

7/10/2011 Started listing super fine artifacts out of my personal collection, many of these are the best of the best. Thanks, Rodney
6/14/2011 Discounted most of the items throughout the website. Am gearing up to post all of my personal collection for sale, starting with group scans. I am going to offer some museum quality items at fair prices in order to raise a little cash ahead of getting married to a wonderful lady named Jessica and purchasing a home. Also if you require a COA on a relic, we can arrange that too. Thanks! Rodney |

Effective as of Sunday 10/24/2010 any artifact offered for sale where the buyer wishes to have an optional COEP issued will be priced as follows:
Any artifact that is listed for sale that has a COEP posted as part of the listing has the material and labor costs associated with creating the COEP factored into the price. Any sold artifact where the buyer does not wish to purchase a COEP will come with known provenance typewritten on a sheet of paper Free of Charge.
Standard 1-page COEP will be available for purchase for $25 Standard 2-page COEP will be available for purchase for $50 Customized 2-page COEP will be available for purchase for $100
The reason for this change is so I can offer clients some flexibility with pricing as well personal time-management realities. Am looking to purchase a well provenanced Indian Artifact collection found on privately owned land from the Plains, Great Basin, Columbia River, or Rocky Mountain regions. If you have one or know of someone whom has a collection to sell and I end up buying it, then I am willing to pay a finder's fee either in cash or with artifacts. Added 3 new webpages for Items On Hold, Sold Items and Items in my Personal Collection with plans to expand the website with technical discussions next year. |
